After escaping the twisted attic puzzle, you find yourself at yet another ominous Red Door. Passing through it drags you into a much darker world. Your next objectives: survive the mausoleum maze, cross the graveyard, and uncover the horrors inside the long-abandoned St. Jupiter’s Cathedral.
St. Jupiter’s Cathedral Walkthrough
Complete Guide (No Emojis, No IGN References)
After solving the Attic Puzzle, you step through a Red Door into a disturbing new environment. You must first navigate a maze hidden in a mausoleum, make your way through a dark graveyard, and finally descend into St. Jupiter’s Cathedral.
Upon entering, you’ll find yourself surrounded by darkness. Your only source of light is the golden lighter. Bloody handprints and blank instant photos cover the stone walls.
Continue forward until the handprints vanish—this marks your entry into the maze.
If you head straight after the initial scare, you’ll eventually hit a dead end. Here, you can collect a Red Collectible on the wall.
The maze is circular in structure, and your goal is to reach the center. As you explore, the apparition of Madison will appear randomly. If she jumpscares directly in front of you, you’re likely going the wrong way.
If she walks across your path (left or right), follow the direction she went. This will eventually lead you to a passage lined with hanging crosses. Madison will attack, but keep moving forward through the tunnel.
Exiting the mausoleum, proceed straight through the graveyard. You’ll come across unmarked graves. Keep moving until you find the second set of mausoleum gates.
Explore the graves to the right of this gate to find another Red Collectible.
Continue down the path lined with candles and crosses until you see a sign for “St. Jupiter’s Cathedral” above an underground entrance. Climb down the ladder. A bell tolls as you fall the last few feet.
You awaken on the cathedral floor, now abandoned and filled with graffiti and debris. On the ground, an old newspaper states that St. Jupiter’s Cathedral was officially closed in 2015 following a series of horrific events—most notably the wake of Madison Hale.
A Red Collectible is located on one of the pillars.
Nearby, you’ll find a pamphlet advertising a biblical art maze with a diagram for the Green Maze on the back.
At the back of the cathedral is a doorway next to a sign reading “2022”. To its left is a Yellow Candle—take it, as it’s needed for the maze puzzles.
To the right of the sign is another pamphlet—this one for the Blue Maze.
Proceed through the doorway to find another sign, marked “1987”, and blank instant photos on the floor. Photographing the “1987” sign causes a shift: the room changes, revealing plaques with the years 1951, 1987, and 2022. You are now in the 1987 version of the cathedral.
Exit the Foundation Stone room and into the past. A map is posted to your left as you step into the newly restored version of the church.
Seven areas are accessible: Bell Tower, Foundation Stone, Confessionary, and the Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green Mazes.
The central hall is pristine, with pews neatly arranged and a casket suspended by chains. A plaque reads “Madson Hale 1944–1987″—notably missing the “i”. Your goal is to unlock the casket by finding the missing letter.
A Green Maze pamphlet is on the left of the room. A Red Maze pamphlet is on the right.
Before exploring the mazes, visit the Bell Tower.
On the way, you’ll find two alcoves:
Left Alcove: Painting of three women playing instruments. Sign reads: “The color of life, the color of peace, the color of our little angels.” A photo reveals the alcove glows green.
Right Alcove: Painting of the crucifixion. Sign reads: “The color of death, the color of wine, the color of Jesus’ blood.” A photo reveals red walls.
In the Bell Tower itself, collect the Red Candle in the hallway. Another Yellow Maze pamphlet lies near the bell. A Red Collectible is hidden on the back of the beam supporting the smaller bell.
You can now return to the Foundation Stone and photograph any of the plaques to travel to 1951, 1987, or 2022.
Upon arrival, collect the Blue Candle located under the 1951 sign.
As you leave, you’ll notice the Confessionary now has someone crying in the right room. A Green Maze pamphlet lies on a bench nearby.
In the left chamber of the Confessionary, trigger a conversation with a woman named Nancy. She confesses to murdering her husband after discovering his Nazi past. Once her confession ends, she begins repeating a prayer.
Do not read the note slipped under her door until you have solved the Red, Blue, and Yellow Mazes. Reading it prematurely triggers the ghost of her husband, who will hunt you through the cathedral. When he appears, the Green Candle becomes available, floating ominously above the main room.
The Bell Tower door is now locked, but the paintings in the alcoves have changed:
Left Alcove: Painting of the Virgin Mary. Sign: “The color of the sky, the color of the sea, the color of Mary’s Tears.” A photo reveals blue walls.
Right Alcove: A bearded man and cherubs. Sign: “The color of light, the color of the sun, the color of our father Lord.” A photo reveals yellow walls.
To escape, you must complete all four mazes—Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green—by placing the correctly colored candle under its corresponding painting at the end of the matching maze.
Only one time period (1951 or 1987) will have the correct version of each maze. You’ll need to experiment or follow guides to determine the right timeline for each.
It’s recommended to solve the Red, Blue, and Yellow Mazes first, before picking up Nancy’s note. Once the Green Candle appears and the ghost is active, finish the Green Maze last.
Use the map on the back of the Red Maze pamphlet.
Go straight down the main hallway.
Turn left.
Take a right.
Take the first left.
Take another left.
Turn right.
At the end is a room with three paintings and interactable tables beneath them.
At the end of the maze, you’ll find three paintings. Beneath each painting is a table where you can place a candle. One of these paintings matches the description from the Red Maze pamphlet. Place the red candle beneath the correct one. If chosen correctly, a sound cue will indicate success, and the candle will remain lit. If the wrong painting is selected, the candle will extinguish, and you’ll need to retrieve it and try another location or time period.
The Blue Maze pamphlet can be found near the 2022 doorway in the cathedral’s main hall. The Blue Candle is located on the bench beneath the 1951 plaque.
Navigate through the Blue Maze using the map on the pamphlet. The layout includes multiple turns and dead ends, so use the image from the pamphlet to guide you. Your goal is to find the room with three paintings at the end.
Once there, compare the images to the pamphlet and place the Blue Candle under the matching painting. As with the Red Maze, only one version (1951 or 1987) will accept the candle correctly. If it extinguishes, try placing it again in the alternate timeline.
The pamphlet for the Yellow Maze is located in the Bell Tower of 1987. The Yellow Candle is found next to the spray-painted 2022 sign near the church entrance in the modern version of the cathedral.
Follow the path on the Yellow Maze map to reach the candle placement area. Once you reach the trio of paintings at the maze’s end, use the Yellow Candle and match the correct artwork. If it fails to stay lit, you’ll need to switch to the other timeline and try again.
The Green Maze pamphlet is scattered in multiple versions of the cathedral. Once you’ve completed the Red, Blue, and Yellow mazes and obtained the Green Candle (which hovers in the air at the end of the Confessionary event in 1951), you’re ready to tackle the final maze.
Be cautious—after collecting the Green Candle, the ghost of Nancy’s husband begins to pursue you through the cathedral. You’ll need to move quickly and efficiently.
Navigate the Green Maze using the matching pamphlet and place the Green Candle under the correct painting. Expect some tension—this section includes pursuit and potentially a jumpscare if you hesitate.
Once all four colored candles have been correctly placed in their respective maze endpoints, return to the cathedral’s main hall in 1987. The casket suspended above the room will react—now unlocked.
Approach the casket. Inside, you’ll find the missing letter “i” from Madison’s name plaque. Collect it and return to the plaque in front of the casket.
Place the letter onto the plaque to complete Madison’s full name. Doing so triggers the final sequence in the cathedral chapter.
Once the plaque is complete, the cathedral trembles and shifts around you. The lighting changes. The church begins to collapse as Madison’s influence becomes overwhelming.
Make your way back to the Foundation Stone. Use the camera to return to the modern timeline. The Red Door that first brought you into this sequence is now accessible again, taking you out of the cathedral arc.
The chapter ends here, with a new item or clue unlocked that will help you in the next portion of your journey.
Once all four colored candles (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green) have been correctly placed in their respective maze shrines, you’ll return to the center of the cathedral. The suspended casket reacts, unlocking the missing letter “i” for Madison’s name plaque.
After placing the final letter into the plaque, the cathedral grows dark. Thunder cracks. A disturbing ritual-like energy fills the air. The camera begins glitching. As the room shakes and the lights flicker, you’re suddenly teleported—trapped in the main hall with a horrifying figure looming before you: the Nazi ghost, Nancy’s deranged husband, now fully resurrected in spectral form.
The Nazi ghost slowly approaches from the shadows.
You cannot hurt him directly.
Quickly raise your camera and take a photo when he’s near—this momentarily stuns him and pushes him back.
Your camera flash is your only defense. Conserve film and time your shots for when he’s close.
He disappears into the dark, reappearing behind you or to the side.
Listen carefully: the ghost growls just before he manifests—use this sound cue to turn and snap a photo.
If he grabs you, the screen distorts and you’ll take damage (leading to a game over if repeated).
Between attacks, flashes of Nazi war crimes imagery may flicker on the walls—disturbing, but only visual.
After surviving for enough time, the room warps again and you’re transported to a burning confessional booth.
Inside, the voice of Nancy plays on loop—her guilt, her secrets, her husband’s crimes, and her pact with Madison to punish him.
The ghost appears one final time in a last desperate lunge toward you.
Take a photo at the exact right moment during this charge to end the fight.
The screen will explode in a burst of light. The ghost lets out a tortured scream and vanishes permanently.
Once the Nazi ghost is defeated:
The church returns to its 2022 state—dilapidated and silent.
The Red Door you first entered through is now active.
Head toward it and take one last photo to return home.
You’re left shaken, with a new understanding of Madison’s past victims and the evil spreading through your bloodline.
After escaping the horrors of St. Jupiter’s Cathedral with Madison Hale’s skull in hand, Luca returns to Grandpa’s house—only to find that the nightmare is far from over.
As you descend from the attic, a familiar sound breaks the silence: the phone is ringing in the dining room. When you approach it, a voicemail begins to play. It’s Priest Thomas again, and this time, the message is far more ominous.
“The demon is trying to finish what Madison started… seven sacrifices… a body exchange ritual… and Luca—you are next.”
The call ends, and you notice something new: a trail of cockroaches creeping out of the dining room and down the hallway.
Follow the cockroach trail to Grandma and Grandpa’s bedroom. Head into the closet—the same one where you previously solved the Solar Medallion Puzzle. The insects have gathered around a loose floorboard.
Inspect the board to reveal two hidden items. For now, only one is accessible:
Basement Key (Red)
An unknown second item (cannot be picked up yet)
Take the Basement Key.
Return to the basement and use the red key to unlock the Red Door. Behind it is a seemingly ordinary pantry, but something feels off. On the back wall is a note:
“The crowbar is in the basement.”
An arrow is scrawled beneath it, pointing down.
Look to the shelf on the left. There’s a Red Collectible attached to a cardboard box. Grab it before continuing.
As Luca reads the note, the lights begin to flicker. When they stabilize, the room’s layout has shifted. The shelves are now in a different position. This is the beginning of the Basement Puzzle.
You’re now in a surreal version of the basement: a dark void filled with floating shelves that rearrange every time the central light flickers.
Interact with the hanging lightbulb to cycle through different versions of the room.
If your inventory is full, stop at the version with the Storage Safe and store an item.
Continue toggling the light until the layout with the crowbar appears.
Once you spot the crowbar on a shelf, collect it.
Then, pull the lightbulb one final time.
All the shelves vanish. You are left standing in an empty room, the floor littered with blank instant photos. A lone Virgin Mary statue stands in front of you.
Raise your camera and take a photo.
More Virgin Mary statues begin appearing around you in a perfect circle. Keep taking photos of them. The more you snap, the more oppressive the atmosphere becomes.
Eventually, the lights flicker once more—and you’re transported back to the normal basement in Grandpa’s house.
You now have the crowbar, a tool that can open up new areas throughout the house. The deeper you go, the more tangled Madison’s ritual becomes.
With the crowbar now in hand, Luca prepares to complete a dark and twisted ritual—one that began with Madison Hale and now threatens to consume him.
After escaping the surreal basement, return to Grandma and Grandpa’s bedroom. Use the crowbar on the loose floorboard—the same spot where you previously found the Basement Key. Underneath, you’ll discover a delicate but ominous item:
Grandma’s Wedding Ring
As soon as Luca picks it up, he experiences another disturbing vision: a wooden chair encircled by a glowing red eye. It’s the very chair found in the Ritual Room, where you first discovered Luca’s camera.
Next, head up to the attic. Use the crowbar again—this time on the loose floorboard near the bedframe. Inside is another chilling clue:
Cassette #2 (labeled “Do Not Listen”)
Despite the warning, you can play the tape using the cassette player in the dining room. The voice that emerges is Luca’s grandmother, Elizabeth, recounting her fears of a creature named Blue Knees that has haunted her ever since she brought home a mysterious children’s book.
Back in the Ritual Room, four Virgin Mary statues now surround the wooden chair. On the chair rests:
Triangle Lock Key #2
A leather-bound ritual book
The book outlines the Body Exchange Ritual, a process mentioned by Father Thomas. To complete it, you must present four specific offerings:
A sentimental object
Seven sacrifices
Two bodies (a guest and a host)
Human ashes
As you place the correct items onto each Virgin Mary’s plate, the statue’s eyes begin to weep blood, signaling your progress.
You should now have three of the four required offerings:
Grandma’s Wedding Ring → represents a sentimental object
Madison’s Skull → one of the seven sacrifices
Sun Box → symbolic of two sacrifices (from the cathedral puzzle)
The fourth item, the Moon Box, was obtained during the Well section. However, Luca will remark that it cannot be used until it’s opened.
With Triangle Lock Key #2 in hand, you can now unlock the Triangle Door near the Ritual Room.
If you haven’t already, retrieve Triangle Lock Key #1 from the kitchen cupboard, to the left of the oven.
Unlock both bolts on the Triangle Door. Inside is a path leading into Luca’s basement—a disturbing area filled with warped memories and twisted machinery.
Just inside:
Grab the Red Collectible on the wall
Collect a missing page from Grandma’s diary on a nearby shelf. She writes of the house turning into a maze, and that light may protect her from Blue Knees.
Inside Luca’s basement, you’ll find:
Two Fuse Box Puzzles
A set of Bolt Cutters hanging on the wall
A table saw that needs power
To activate the saw, solve the fuse puzzles. Each must be set so no switches reset—trial and error is required as the combinations are randomized for every playthrough.
Once power is restored, use the table saw on the Moon Box. Inside, you’ll discover four disturbing photographs of severed limbs—presumably from Madison’s victims.
With the bolt cutters in your inventory, you can now open:
The chained cupboard above the stove in the kitchen (contains a Red Collectible)
The iron bar on the toilet in Grandpa’s bathroom
Inside the toilet tank is a concrete brick. Picking it up triggers a cutscene: Luca overhears a heated argument between his grandparents—Elizabeth warns about Blue Knees, while Albert dismisses her claims as delusion.
Return to the Ritual Room.
Place the Moon Box on the final statue’s plate. When you do, it begins to weep blood—completing the ritual. You’ll also unlock the “Bloodious” achievement for triggering all four statues.
As the lights flicker, blood-red numbers appear on the wall near the crawlspace door. This is the final puzzle of this chapter—a combination lock that Luca must solve to proceed.
Exit the Ritual Room. On the nearby windowsill, you’ll find:
Cassette #3
Play this tape in the dining room. It’s a final, desperate warning from Priest Thomas, who confirms Luca’s worst fears:
Madison Hale is bound to the instant camera… and now, to Luca himself.
She has already manipulated him into killing his mother and sister, Chanel.
After the recording ends, Luca is hit with another horrific vision—this time of a horned figure.
This vision hints toward the cow skull in the living room, resting above the television.
Take a photo of it with the instant camera.
Once developed, the image reveals the first digit of the four-digit crawlspace code.
The next vision will lead Luca toward the elevator, where he must uncover the second digit…
After uncovering the first number of the crawlspace lock code by photographing the cow skull in the living room, Luca’s journey takes a more unsettling turn. A red lightbulb vision leads you into one of Madison’s most chilling chapters — the elevator sequence inside a haunted crypt. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown to help you navigate the puzzles on each floor and claim the second number of the Ritual Room lock code.
Your clue is the red lightbulb — a sign you need to flood the house in eerie red emergency lighting. Head down to the basement and switch off the generator. Once the power is cut, Luca hears the front doorbell ring. This is your next cue.
With the front door no longer barricaded, make your way past the home theater and Grandpa’s office. The door swings open as you approach, revealing a corridor leading to a mausoleum crypt. At the end is an old elevator, accompanied by a sinister news broadcast about Madison Hale’s string of murders.
Inside the elevator, you’ll find buttons for five floors (excluding the ground level). You can tackle these puzzles in any order, but each floor is tied to a specific victim from Madison’s murder spree.
Each level reveals a victim profile through the broadcast. You need to:
Identify the tomb that belongs to the mentioned victim.
Use the instant camera to snap a photo of the correct tomb.
The tomb’s location is randomized per playthrough, but the victim names and ages are always the same.
Let’s go floor by floor.
Broadcast mentions: 75-year-old male – Madison’s father.
None of the plaques directly show his age, but look through a hole in the wall to find “Robert Hale”.
Solution: Take a photo of Robert Hale’s tomb.
The room trembles — you’ve solved this floor.
Broadcast mentions: 71-year-old woman – Madison’s mother.
The floor is dark. Look carefully through the holes until you spot “Judith Hale.”
Solution: Photograph Judith Hale’s casket.
A jolt confirms the puzzle is complete.
Bonus: Look behind the central pillar to find a Red Collectible photo.
Broadcast mentions: A 27-year-old man.
One wall has a hole too small to see through — smash it open using your hammer.
Inside is the tomb for “Drake Fletcher (1960–1987)”, which matches the age.
Solution: Take a picture of Drake’s tomb.
Room shakes — another solved puzzle.
Broadcast mentions: A 35-year-old woman.
Two walls have small holes you need to break open with the hammer.
Locate the casket labeled “Lynn Jamie”, born in 1952, matching the victim’s age.
Solution: Photograph Lynn Jamie’s tomb.
The broadcast ends abruptly. Instead of more news, it just repeats one word: “you.”
Head up to the fifth floor.
Across from the elevator, you’ll see a mirror instead of a tomb.
Important: Take a photo of the mirror. In the photo, you’ll see a wooden chair — the same one from the Ritual Room.
The mirror vanishes, and the developed photo reveals the second number of the lock code.
Behind where the mirror was, there’s a hole in the wall. Interact with it to obtain the Clock Room Key, which you’ll need to unlock the next puzzle back at Grandpa’s house.
As you ride the elevator back down to the ground floor, look between floors three and four — a Red Collectible photo will appear. Grab it quickly before the elevator descends!
Welcome back, brave player. After descending through the eerie elevator of the mausoleum and uncovering the second digit of the Ritual Room’s lock, your descent into madness continues in Madison’s Clock Room. Prepare for twisted corridors, reality-bending jumpscares, and a ticking puzzle that pulls you deeper into Luca’s fractured mind.
Before facing the clocks, you need light. Return to Grandpa’s generator in the basement and flip the switch to restore electricity to the house. Shadows retreat. For now.
Use the Clock Room Key you retrieved from the 5th floor of the elevator to unlock a door you’ve passed before—one that practically breathed with unseen tension. It’s time to descend into the Clock Room.
As you step inside, Luca receives another disturbing sketch from his psychic torment—this time, a crudely drawn clock marked with the words:
“Tik Tok.”
Yeah. It’s not just decorative.
Within the dim confines of the Clock Room, four ancient cuckoo clocks line the walls. Each has two clock faces, but one is missing on each. You’ll need to find matching clock faces from around the house to complete the puzzle. But before that…
On the right wall, find a desk drawer sealed shut with a chain. Slice it open using the bolt cutters, revealing a notepad with part of a safe combination:
“Combination: 3 left, 12…”
Head to the bathroom in Grandpa’s house. On the sink counter is another torn piece of paper—the second half of the combination:
“…8 left.”
Combine both notes:
Green Safe Combo = 3 Left, 12 Right, 8 Left
Backtrack to Grandpa’s office. Use the combination to unlock the green safe near the desk. Inside, you’ll find:
A Cuckoo Clock Face (essential for solving the main puzzle)
A letter from Albert Maxwell to Luca’s father, John—hinting that the entity known as Blue Knees was always real…
You’re now ready to solve the main event: the Clock Puzzle.
Each of the four clocks in the Clock Room has two faces—one is missing.
Place the clock face from the Green Safe into the appropriate clock in the Clock Room.
Doing so lets you remove one of the other clock faces—this is now an item you can carry.
Your task: make all four clocks match the corresponding timepieces scattered throughout the house.
Look for cuckoo clocks in these areas:
Luca’s Kitchen
The Attic
Near Grandpa’s Office
Various rooms throughout the house
Take photos if needed to remember their times, and swap the clock faces in the Clock Room until each one matches its real-world counterpart.
Important: The clock times are randomized every playthrough, so no guide can give you the exact answers—you’ll need to rely on exploration and observation.
Once every clock in the Clock Room is properly synchronized, you’ll know it—the clocks start spinning uncontrollably, time itself buckling under the pressure.
Then only one clock remains spinning:
The one on the locked door.
Take out your camera and snap a photo of it. Once developed, it reveals the third number of the Ritual Room Lock Code.
Behind the newly unlocked door, you’ll find a small Unfinished Clock hanging from a hook. Grab it—its role becomes clear in the final act of this descent.
As you exit the Clock Room, Luca is hit with his final vision—a nightmarish call toward the final piece of the Ritual Room puzzle.
Next stop: the Blue Knees section.
It’s not over. It’s just getting worse.
Welcome to one of the most intense and terrifying parts of Madison. The Blue Knees section plunges you into a twisted version of Grandpa’s house—only this time, you’re walking in the shadow of Luca’s father’s childhood, stalked by the eerie, legendary creature known as Blue Knees.
To escape, you’ll need to find both of his missing eyes and uncover the final number in the Ritual Room lock code. But beware… every step forward may be your last.
As you exit the Clock Room, a creepy drawing appears in Luca’s journal—three curved arrows with red notches. This cryptic image is your clue to opening the Red Safe in Grandpa’s office.
Each red-highlighted notch or arrow equals one tick in that direction.
Count carefully and input the combination accordingly.
Inside the safe, you’ll find Johnny’s Room Key, nestled among stacks of cash. This key unlocks the next nightmare.
Johnny’s room is eerie—and puzzling. Suspended from the ceiling are five winches:
Four feature chains with animal symbols: 🐰 Rabbit, 🐍 Snake, 🐀 Rat, 🦈 Shark
The fifth is a birdcage, locked tight.
On a chalkboard nearby is a riddle:
“In order to save the bird,
the rabbit jumped into the air,
leaving all her friends behind.
The snake below the rat remained,
while the shark in the depths this plan designed.”
Here’s what to do:
Place the heaviest block (originally on the rat hook) onto the shark’s hook.
Put the medium block (on the floor beneath the shark) on the snake’s hook.
Use the small block (from Grandpa’s chained toilet—cut with bolt cutters) on the rat’s hook.
Finally, hang the Unfinished Clock (from the Clock Room door) on the rabbit’s hook.
Snap a photo of the birdcage to lift it, revealing a disturbing children’s book beneath: The Blue Knees Book.
The book tells the sad and grotesque tale of Blue Knees—forever searching for his stolen eyes, crawling until his knees turned blue. The final page warns:
“He’s afraid of the light. Use something bright for protection.”
Once you finish reading, the world changes.
You’re now in Johnny’s childhood room, standing before a ritual hole in the floor surrounded by instant photos and candles. Photograph it—and watch as eyes crawl in the developed image. The chase is about to begin.
As you leave the room, Blue Knees appears. From this point on, he’s hunting you.
Your goal:
Find both of Blue Knees’ eyes and survive long enough to place them into the hole.
The house is now twisted, unfamiliar. Your best weapon? The instant camera.
Scattered around the new layout are vintage gramophones. Each plays a disturbing rendition of the Blue Knees Song—the same one your grandmother warned about.
Interact with each gramophone.
Hold the button and listen to the full song.
When it finishes, an eyeball pops out of the horn.
If it has a pupil, it’s one of the two eyes.
No pupil? Wrong eye—move on.
Be warned: Playing the song lures Blue Knees toward you.
When lightning crashes and the room shudders, he’s coming.
How to Survive Blue Knees
Quickly pull out the instant camera.
Flash him with a photo.
He vanishes temporarily—but not for long.
From this point forward, Red Collectibles are no longer available. But there are five Blue Collectibles hidden in this sequence.
(We’ll be covering them in our [Blue Collectibles Guide – Coming Soon!])
Once you collect both eyeballs, return to the ritual hole in Johnny’s room and drop them in.
Take one final photo of the hole.
In the image, the final piece is revealed: the fourth number of the Ritual Room’s lock code.
Now it’s time to finish what you started.
By Superscared.com
You’ve escaped Blue Knees, you’ve got the final number, and now… the end is near.
This final segment—The Hanged Son—is the most psychologically brutal part of Madison. Luca is no longer running from horrors. He’s crawling toward a final, inevitable fate.
⚠️ Content Warning: This section features graphic depictions of suicide. Proceed with caution.
Unlock the Ritual Room. Complete the final ritual. End it.
After surviving the Blue Knees nightmare and retrieving the fourth digit, you’ll awaken in the now eerily silent version of Grandpa’s house. Luca is limping. You can’t run anymore.
Follow the ghostly, nude form of Madison as she walks ahead of you, silently leading you back to the Ritual Room.
Use the Lock Code gathered from the burned photos in:
Ritual Room
Elevator
Clock Room
Blue Knees sequence
💡 If you forgot the numbers, open your inventory and examine the burned photos again. They’re all still there.
Once the lock opens, you’ll see an urn labeled “Elizabeth Maxwell”—Luca’s grandmother. Approach it for one last vision.
The drawing appears: a blank Polaroid. Below it, Luca had written:
“Dad’s Head” — now crossed out.
Replaced with:
“The Hanged Son.”
This is your final ritual.
Interact with the urn pedestal again. Now, place your instant camera on top.
Suddenly, the wooden chair creaks and rotates to face you.
Approach it.
Sit.
No more puzzles. No more monsters.
Just the rope… and your choice is no longer your own.
Luca climbs the chair. He places the noose around his neck.
As the horrifying ritual completes, Madison herself emerges one last time—watching. Feeding. Fulfilling the pact.
Your instant camera flashes on its own.
The photo develops.
Burned. Just like every other photo of her.
The screen goes black.
Luca gasps one last time.
Then silence.
The credits begin.
But the dread lingers.
