The Boy in the Wall – In 1988, Experimental Primary School No. 3, located on the outskirts of Harbin, was temporarily shut down for renovations. The building, over 70 years old, showed visible signs of decay—deep cracks, collapsing ceilings, and an overwhelming feeling that something unseen lingered within.
During repairs in the school’s north wing—an area that had been sealed off for years—construction workers began tearing down an old interior wall. What they uncovered stopped them cold.

Hidden inside the wall was a small human skeleton. The remains were clearly those of a child. The body wore a tattered school uniform from the 1950s. Next to the skeleton lay a decaying notebook, soaked and fragile, but with one legible name: Liu Wei.
School records showed no student by that name. No missing persons report. No complaints. Liu Wei, it seemed, had never officially existed.
But the elderly residents nearby remembered. They whispered that Liu Wei had been locked in that room as punishment by a strict teacher… and then forgotten. Others suggested it had been intentional. Either way, no one came for him.
