Legendary Unveils Three Upcoming Monsterverse Video Games
While fans eagerly await the next cinematic installment of Legendary Entertainment’s Monsterverse, the studio is bridging the gap with three highly anticipated video games set to launch later this year. Developed in collaboration with 7Levels, Tilting Point, and Supersocial, these games promise to immerse players in the thrilling world of iconic monsters like Godzilla and Kong.
“We’re excited to offer our fans not just one, but three thrilling video game experiences inspired by the Monsterverse,” said James Ngo, EVP of Franchise Management at Legendary Entertainment. “Our partnerships with Tilting Point, 7Levels, and Supersocial demonstrate our dedication to creating engaging, immersive experiences for our global audience. Each game captures the unique spirit of our legendary monsters, bringing them to life in ways that will resonate with players of all ages. We’re incredibly grateful for the collaboration with these innovative developers and can’t wait to see the Monsterverse expand in such exciting new directions.”
The first game, Kong: Survivor Instinct, is a 2.5D action-adventure title for PC and consoles developed by 7Levels. Set in the aftermath of Godzilla vs. Kong, players will explore a devastated city through the perspective of a father searching for his lost daughter. Kong: Survivor Instinct is scheduled to release later this year on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
For those craving a showdown between Godzilla and Kong, Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers offers a strategic twist. This 4X strategy mobile game, published by Tilting Point LLC and developed by Hunted Cow Games, takes place on the newly discovered Siren Isles. Players will build bases, forge alliances, and engage in turn-based tactical combat with their Titan Chaser squads, all while recruiting monsters from the Monsterverse, including Skullcrawlers and Mother Longlegs. The ultimate goal? To strategize and support Godzilla and Kong in their battles. Pre-orders for Titan Chasers are now available on iOS and Android.
