The Popcorn Frights Film Festival returns this year with both in-person and virtual screenings, running from August 8 to 18. For its landmark tenth anniversary, the festival is pulling out all the stops, and the second wave of programming promises even more thrilling events and premieres.
According to the latest press release, Popcorn Frights is introducing the Golden Skull Award to honor a horror legend who has left an indelible mark on the genre and our deepest fears. The inaugural recipient of this prestigious accolade is the iconic Tony Todd, known for his chilling performances in over 200 films, including the seminal ‘’Candyman’’.
